I know it’s helpful to understand who you’re learning from or inviting to your event, so even though self‑promotion isn’t really my thing, here’s a small glimpse into who I am and how I work.
I dance to honour tradition and celebrate connection. I share belly dance with deep respect for its roots, acknowledging the cultures and artists who have shaped this art form long before it reached me.
Dancing since childhood, I fell in love with belly dancing (Raqs Sharqi) in 2014. The movements instilled in me a confidence and femininity that I’d never before experienced.
It’s a beautiful, on-going learning journey, and one I’ve shared through teaching and professional performances for the past 7 years.
I’m committed to continuous professional development, studying with instructors from around the globe, including and especially source dancers. I’ve travelled to Egypt and Türkiye, deepening connection to the cultural roots of the dance, enriching both my practice and teaching.
My studies and experiences include:
PhD (Mental Health), BPsych, MSci (Research)
Kaeshi Chai’s Bellyqueen Certification (2022)
Keti Sharif’s A-Z Original, Advanced, Teacher and Performer Certification (2021)
Mentored by Miki Tsuchiya - Miki Bellydance, Singapore
Shimmy Mob Choreography Winner (2022)
I pride myself on providing a welcoming, fun and safe environment for students and clients. I can’t wait to dance with you.
